IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MOOD

These cannabis gummies keep selling out in 2024

If you've ever struggled to enjoy cannabis due to the harshness of smoking or vaping, you're not alone. That’s why these new cannabis gummies caught our eye.

Mood is an online dispensary that has invented a “joint within a gummy” that’s extremely potent yet federally-legal. Their gummies are formulated to tap into the human body’s endocannabinoid system.

Although this system was discovered in the 1990’s, farmers and scientists at Mood were among the first to figure out how to tap into it with cannabis gummies. Just 1 of their rapid onset THC gummies can get you feeling right within 5 minutes!

Anthropic Unveils Claude Enterprise to Compete with OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise

Anthropic has introduced a new subscription plan for its AI chatbot, Claude, designed specifically for enterprise customers. This move positions Anthropic in direct competition with OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise, which has seen significant traction in the market over the past year. The Claude Enterprise plan is tailored for businesses seeking advanced administrative control, enhanced security features, and the ability to integrate proprietary knowledge. But how does it stand out?

  • Enhanced Context Window: Claude Enterprise offers a context window of 500,000 tokens, far surpassing ChatGPT’s capabilities, allowing businesses to process large volumes of data—like hundreds of documents or lengthy code in a single prompt.

  • Projects and Artifacts Workspaces: These collaborative features enable multiple users to upload, edit, and manage content, ideal for long-term projects involving multiple data sources and team members.

  • GitHub Integration for Developers: Engineering teams can sync their GitHub repositories directly with Claude, facilitating code analysis, bug fixes, and onboarding new engineers.

  • Privacy Assurance: Similar to OpenAI, Anthropic guarantees that Claude Enterprise will not train on customer data, which is a critical concern for companies handling sensitive information.

As Anthropic continues to refine its enterprise offerings, the competition in the AI space intensifies. Claude Enterprise could become a go-to solution for companies needing tailored AI services by offering more advanced features like larger context windows and deep integration options. Time will tell if it can match the widespread adoption of its competitors.

US, Britain, and EU to Sign Groundbreaking AI Standards Agreement

In a major move to regulate artificial intelligence, the U.S., Britain, and the European Union are expected to sign the first-ever legally binding international treaty on AI. The agreement marks a crucial step towards ensuring AI technologies are developed and used in line with democratic values and human rights. The treaty, drafted over two years by more than 50 countries, is set to be signed in Vilnius on September 5, signaling a unified approach to AI governance.

  • First International AI Treaty: The U.S., Britain, and EU will sign a legally binding convention focused on AI, addressing human rights, democracy, and the rule of law.

  • Global Collaboration: The treaty involves over 50 countries, including Canada, Japan, Israel, and Australia, showcasing a global commitment to AI regulation.

  • Focus on Democratic Values: The U.S. emphasized its dedication to ensuring AI aligns with human rights and democratic values through this agreement.

  • Council of Europe’s Role: The treaty was finalized by the Council of Europe’s Committee on Artificial Intelligence (CAI) and will now become a cornerstone for international AI standards.

As AI continues to evolve, the signing of this treaty highlights the global effort to ensure its responsible use. With key nations coming together to establish legally binding standards, this agreement could set the foundation for future AI regulations, promoting a more ethical and secure AI landscape.

OpenAI Co-Founder Ilya Sutskever's New AI Startup Raises $1 Billion for AI Safety

Safe Superintelligence (SSI), a new AI startup co-founded by OpenAI’s former chief scientist Ilya Sutskever, has secured $1 billion in funding. The company, just three months old, is dedicated to developing safe AI systems that exceed human capabilities. With the support of major investors like Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia Capital, SSI aims to become a leader in AI safety while attracting top talent to further its mission.

  • Massive Valuation: SSI, despite being only three months old, is already valued at $5 billion.

  • Focus on AI Safety: The startup's mission is to develop AI systems that prioritize safety and surpass human intelligence.

  • Strategic Use of Funds: SSI will use the $1 billion to acquire advanced computing power and hire a small, highly trusted team of researchers and engineers.

  • Global Operations: SSI’s workforce will be split between Palo Alto, California, and Tel Aviv, Israel, where it will focus on innovation and AI safety.

SSI’s rapid growth and significant funding highlight the increasing importance of AI safety in the tech industry. With a focus on building systems that exceed human capabilities while ensuring safety, the startup is well-positioned to lead the future of AI development
